🌟 Building a Stronger Community – Together! 🌟

At Methil Community Education Centre, we’re proud to be rebuilding and growing our programme – and we’re always excited to welcome groups that bring value to every corner of our community.

We continue to support amazing organisations like Fife Young Carers’ youth clubs, ADAPT KY8, Fife Council’s ABE, ESOL, and Digital Skills groups, and the Glenrothes Wine Club. We’ve also recently welcomed new faces, including the Fife Gingerbread Art Club, Teatime Club, Active Schools, FRASAC, and many more.

Our goal? To offer a space that’s relaxed, welcoming, and safe – where people can connect, grow, and feel supported. Whether it’s tackling social isolation, food and fuel poverty, or supporting recovery, we’re here to help our community thrive.

🎱 And let’s not forget our four fantastic snooker tables – a big hit with visitors of all ages!

If you’re inspired by what we do and want to make a difference, why not consider joining our Management Committee?

We meet monthly (every second Wednesday evening) and work together to guide the Centre’s future. It’s a great way to give back, share your voice, and help shape the services that matter most.

The Lynn Deacon the Chairperson – is someone who’s a great listener, a confident organiser, and passionate about community. Helping lead meetings, encourage discussion, and keep things running smoothly.

Our committee includes representatives from user groups and the wider community, and we hold elections for Office Bearers  (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer) each year after our AGM.
