The Learning Suite
Adult Basic Education (ABE) provides literacy support to adult learners from across Levenmouth. Each learner follows an Individual Learning Plan tailored to their personal goals and literacy needs.
In Methil, we currently offer a range of learning opportunities, including:
- Developing literacy and numeracy skills
- SQA qualifications in Communication, Numeracy and ICT
- Targeted IT courses to support learners with Universal Job Match and other digital requirements
ABE aims to create a relaxed, informal and welcoming learning environment — and all classes are free to attend.
Our ABE service has its own dedicated entrance at the side of the Main Building. Many learners appreciate the benefits of this self‑contained space, which overlooks Methil Docks and provides an ideal, calm setting for learning.
